Mill Association
The mill association welcomes engagement from volunteers in all capacities. You can get involved wherever you are, and we welcome all our members from across the world!
The Møllelauge
The Møllelauge, established in 2021, is a community-driven association with members from Langeland and globally. It focuses on restoring Lindelse Mill and fostering community engagement, creating a welcoming space for events, workshops, concerts, and pop-up cafes.
Operating in both English and Danish, the association hosts annual events like National Mill Day and Langeland’s Lys i Mørket, along with community dinners and concerts. Biannual Workaway days bring members together for restoration tasks, meals, music, and hygge. Major achievements include rebuilding stonework, repainting the exterior, and restoring the carriageway and garden. Events are shared via Facebook and email newsletters.
Join the community
The community consists of friends of the mill, people whose families are connected to the mill through their ancestors and Mill Association members.
The community aims to transform the mill into an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming space for events, workshops, concerts, and pop-up cafes. We operate in both English and Danish to accommodate our global membership. Join us in preserving this historical landmark and building a sense of community.
Mill Association membership is available for individuals, families and companies.
Donations are appreciated to support our ongoing Mill restoration efforts (none of the donations are used for the house).
Stay connected through our Facebook group and email newsletter for updates on restoration progress, events and activities.
