About the Mill
Lindelse Mill has a vibrant history dating back to the 1500s. The current mill, rebuilt in 1828 after a fire, is a Dutch-style mill known also as ‘Phoenix Mill,’ symbolizing rebirth.
The mill ceased operations in the 1960s and underwent some restoration in the 1980s.
Visitors can explore the original mill stones, wheels, shafts and sieves, and enjoy panoramic views from the second-floor gallery.
