Funds from the Danish Slots og Kulturstyrelsen, Augustinus Fund and Aage og Johanne Louis-Hansens Fond supported the first major restoration of the mill. It covered repairs of the stone terraces, the repair and taring of the wood shingles, and many other smaller repairs.

Unfortunately, the mill wings had to be taken down because they were dangerous and ready to fall.
